VT

Visual Testing (VT)

Coded direct and remote visual examination — the foundation of every inspection.

Visual Testing (VT) is the first and most widely applied NDT method — a coded, documented examination of surface condition, weld profile, corrosion and mechanical damage. Far more than 'just looking', it follows defined lighting, access and acceptance requirements.

TESKO extends VT with Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) using borescopes and, where appropriate, drone survey for tanks, stacks and confined or elevated assets.

Typical Applications

  • Weld profile and surface acceptance
  • Corrosion and coating condition surveys
  • Confined space, vessel and tank internals (RVI)
  • Elevated structure and stack drone survey

Why TESKO NDT

  • Fast, low-cost first-line screening
  • Remote access to confined / elevated assets
  • Documented photographic record
  • Directs where to apply deeper NDT

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Remote visual inspection with borescopes and drones lets us assess internals, undersides and high structures safely without scaffolding or confined-space entry.
